Ever wondered how we go about setting up new missions and parishes.  Prayer comes first to make sure that the Holy Spirit is moving this and not ourselves.  God also expects us to do our bit and this necessarily involves a process of discernment.  Who is or will be the mission leader?  (This may not be the person who is eventually ordained to serve locally when the mission becomes a parish).  This flow chart may be helpful.
